Check the qualifications below to see if you might qualify for free rent!
Your application must be turned in within 24 hours of viewing the property. You can deliver it during regular business hours. You can drop all of the information in our overnight drop box in one envelope with your name on it. You can also fax all information to us at (937) 277-7347 and pay the fee over the phone.
Rent for the property you are applying for must not exceed 30% of your monthly income before taxes.
You must have been employed for at least one year at your current employer or provide sufficient proof of income (such as social security, retirement, food stamps, child support, monthly assistance, etc...).
You must have a good current and past landlord reference with no evictions in the last four years, no balances, and you cannot have been asked to leave.
You must not have any felony, drug, or violent act convictions within the last four years.
You must not have any bad checks or civil judgments in the last four years, and we will pull a credit report to verify your credit history over the last four years. (We do not count medical, educational, or cable bills, so these will not help you or hurt you)
You must not have any DP&L, Vectren, or City of Dayton Water on collection. (This is not the same as having a utility in your name and being late on a payment.)
Bankruptcies and foreclosures will be taken under consideration in certain circumstances
