If I am approved for a property, how long
will my lease be for?
All leases are
for one year with a deposit equal to the rent.
What do I need to
have in order to fill out my application and turn it in?
In order to fill
out your application, you will need to know your contact information,
current and previous addresses including contact information for your
landlords, and employer contact information. When you turn in your
application, you must bring a valid driver's license or state ID and
your most recent check stub (or other proof of income). Prior to ManCo
processing your application, an application fee will be charged. It is
$35 for an individual application, $50 for a joint application, and $35
each for a cosigner and applicant. The application fee is
non-refundable.
How long will it
take ManCo to tell me whether I am approved or denied?
Applications take
on average about 3 to 5 business days to complete processing. Some
applications may take longer in order to verify all required
information, and some applications may be able to be processed more
quickly. We will usually call you within several days of turning in your
application with any questions or updates.
Do I have to put a
deposit down?
A deposit is not
required in order to process your application. Prior to a decision on
your application, a security deposit equal to one full month's rent will
ensure your application is the first to be processed. If you choose not
to put down a deposit (or only a partial deposit) when you turn in your
application, you may be bumped out of line. If your application is
approved, a full deposit will hold the property for up to two weeks. If
your application is rejected, your deposit will be returned in full.
Will putting down a
deposit automatically make me approved?
No. Putting down a
deposit will not make your application automatically approved. All
applications are thoroughly reviewed before approved or denied.
Does Manco rent to
individuals convicted of sexually oriented offenses?
ManCo will not
rent to individuals convicted of sexually oriented offenses.
